Conceived from the perspective of a migrant mother, this installation reflects the conditions displaced families have recently been experiencing at the US/Mexico border. Referencing real life migrants and the personal belongings they brought with them, the work also seeks to redirect public discourse that focuses on our shared humanity and hopes and dreams.
